Ollie Hill

🇵🇹Algarve, Portugal

Paralympic Snowboarder · GB's First Snowboard Medalist · Co-Founder

Ollie Hill grew up chasing extreme sports from the jump — skiing before he was four, snowboarding by eight, skateboarding in between, and racing motocross competitively as a teenager before stepping up to the Triumph Triple Challenge superbike series. In December 2018, a car accident resulted in his right leg being amputated below the knee.

While recovering in hospital, Ollie discovered Para snowboarding and set himself a goal: make the GB Paralympic team and become a world champion. He joined GB Snowsport in 2020, and by his third-ever World Cup boardercross race he was on the podium. He finished his rookie season ranked second in the world. At Beijing 2022, he made history as the first Brit to win a Paralympic snowboard medal, taking bronze in the banked slalom. The following season he claimed the Crystal Globe as world number one in the same discipline.

Ollie is the co-founder of Shredding Sassy and the living proof of what this brand is about — an athlete who refuses to be boxed in by circumstance, crosses every discipline he touches, and shreds his own way every single day.
